Privacy Policy

HemNote (https://hemnote.com) is a static publication: a set of published pages with no user accounts, no logins, and no reader profiles stored on our servers. This policy explains what limited information we do handle, and how.

Information we collect

Contact form. If you use the contact form, the name, email address, and message you enter are submitted through Web3Forms, a third-party form-processing service, which forwards the submission to our inbox by email. We use that information only to respond to you. We do not add it to a mailing list or share it with anyone else.

Analytics. When enabled, HemNote uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless analytics service. It reports aggregate metrics such as page views and referring pages without setting tracking cookies or building an individual profile of your visit.

Server logs. Like most web hosts, our infrastructure may retain standard technical logs (such as IP address and request timing) for security and reliability purposes. We do not use these logs for advertising or tracking.

Cookies

HemNote does not set first-party tracking cookies. Details on cookie use — including third-party cookies set by affiliate networks after you click an outbound link — are on ourCookie Policy page.

Affiliate links

HemNote contains affiliate links to brand and retailer sites. When you click through, the destination site (or the affiliate network behind it, such as Awin or Impact.com) may set its own cookies on its own domain to track the referral and attribute any resulting commission to HemNote. We do not control those cookies, and this policy does not cover them — refer to the privacy policy of the site you land on. See ourAffiliate Disclosure for how that revenue works.

Third-party services

We rely on a small number of third-party services to run this site: Web3Forms (contact form delivery), Cloudflare (hosting, security, and cookieless analytics), and the affiliate networks and retailers linked throughout the site. Each operates under its own privacy policy, which governs any data you share directly with it.

Your rights and requests

Because we don't maintain accounts or a marketing database, there is generally no stored profile to access or delete beyond an email you've sent us. If you'd like a copy of, or the deletion of, a message you submitted through our contact form, emailhello@hemnote.com and we'll handle the request.

We may update this policy as the site or the services it relies on change. The date at the top of this page reflects the last revision.
